Young driver fees
At Virtuo, we understand that age isn't the only determining factor in responsible driving. However, to ensure the safety of our vehicles and customers, we've implemented specific guidelines:
• Age Requirement: While most of our vehicles are available for those aged 21 to 25, young driver fees may apply. This fee is designed to account for the statistical risks associated with younger drivers and is a common practice in the car rental industry. The specific fee will vary based on the length of your rental and will be clearly indicated during the booking process.
• Driving Experience: Apart from age, we also consider the number of years you've held a valid driver's license. Some of our premium models may have stricter requirements.
• Country-Specific Rules: Our age policies can vary by country. For instance, in the UK, drivers must be over 25 to rent a Virtuo, and for some models, the age requirement is 28. This is in line with local regulations and insurance stipulations.
